Family retreat - weekend 15-17 June 2018

Family retreat - weekend 15-17 June 2018

Procedure

During this sesshin (Zen meditation retreat), special attention will be paid to the family of the practitioners: children of course, but also partners (if he does not yet practice), brother or sister, parents etc... It is thus possible to come to the temple of the Gendronnière with his entourage.

For the practitioners, the retreat will take place in the same way as an ordinary sesshin.

Family members will be cared for by a staff of monks, nuns and bodhisattva or by experienced practitioners, for a smooth integration into the timetable. The family will participate in activities specifically designed for them. These people will also help with common activities such as cutting vegetables, serving meals, ringing the big bell, working in the garden, offering incense...

The general theme of this sesshin will be "gratitude" and all activities will refer to it.

The project "Permaculture à la Gendronnière" will also take place during this weekend and it will be possible for the family to participate in these activities: care of the garden and outdoor surroundings.

Of course it is also possible to come alone to participate in this sesshin weekend ( 2 days).

Arrival: Friday 15 June

Departure: Sunday 17 June after lunch
