How to Become an AZI Member ? 

To participate in the activities at La Gendronnière Temple (sesshins, themed retreats, residential stays), it is mandatory to become a member of the Association Zen Internationale (AZI) by taking out to the AZI+ membership.

Here are the steps to follow:

  • Click in this link : BECOME AN AZI MEMBER  which will take you to the AssoConnect website (the platform that manages memberships and membership fees)
  • Before clicking the "J'adhère" button, click the "SE CONNECTER" button in the top-right corner.
  • Create an account or sign in to your existing account
  • Update your personal information
  • Return to the AssoConnect homepage and click the “Become a Member” button
  • Pay your annual membership fee online

Annual AZI+ membership fee (to become a member of the association): €45

You may also choose to become:

  • a Supporting Member with a voluntary fee starting from €100
  • a Benefactor Member with a voluntary fee starting from €300

  • Support the Gendronnière 2035 Project, which is preparing the future of the temple
  • Support the hundreds of affiliated practice centers and groups
  • Maintain and develop La Gendronnière Temple

  • Support the volunteers who keep the practice alive on a daily basis.

By becoming a member, you make a concrete contribution to the transmission and development of Sōtō Zen in Europe.

  • Our publications: La Revue Zen, featuring in-depth articles, and Sangha, our regular newsletter sharing news, updates, and information about practice and sangha life

As an AZI member, you also benefit from:

  • Voting rights at the Annual General Meeting.
  • Personal Accident and Public Liability insurance covering accidents that may occur during Zen practice, both in France and abroad.
